About

I am empty-nester; former homeschooling mom of three, foster mother to nine more, grandmother to one, and former office manger and computer programmer BC (before children). I have always been a creative do-it-yourselfer who enjoys crafts, writing, designing - and re-designing - houses, and creating websites. I live in the Ozark mountains in a house I designed, that was built by my family. I have, at the moment, three dogs, but that could change at any minute. As you can tell by my number of foster kids, I take in strays of all kinds.

These days I work with my husband, who is an engineer, doing logistics and office management.

My crafting experience dates back to making Christmas ornaments with my mother when I was a toddler and includes making Christmas wreaths and greenery, designing cards and invitations, Photoshop art, Christmas ornaments, stained glass, photography, sewing, embroidery, and cross stitch.

This is the first time I've ever had a craft space (a whole room!) to do whatever I want in, so it will be a new experience for me.

My latest passion is papercrafting: scrapbooks and art journaling. I hope you come along for the ride and maybe we'll both learn something along the way.
